Treatments and modalities
Systematic Kinesiology is at the forefront of what we do at Duffy Health. Through muscle testing, kinesiology allows the practitioner to assess a remarkable array of information within seconds about all aspects of the body, from issues with structure such as muscles and joint issues, through to testing which vitamins and minerals the body is needing, or even mental stresses and psychological blocks, and techniques to address each of the issues.
Kinesiology is the ultimate holistic modality as it allows a practitioner to tackle client health concerns from all angles at once (mental, nutritional, structural, energetic). For example, physical pain may need muscles or joints treated, but the issue may have originally started at a time of severe stress. With Kinesiology, sessions can tackle not just symptoms but more importantly discover and treat underlying causes to provide long term benefits.
Cranial Therapy Techniques
Our practitioners use a range of gentle cranial techniques from both Systematic Kinesiology and Cranial Therapy, which include neuro-vascular points, as well as diaphragm, occipital, and sacral release techniques. We hold so much of our tension in the head, and the vast majority of our clients have some form of neck tension or cranial fixations, which benefit from cranial fixes and releases. These techniques are very gentle and extremely effective for a range of issues and conditions, including Autism, stress, anxiety, and chronic fatigue.

Massage and lymphatic techniques
Massage is a highly effective way of assisting the body to heal, with its vast array of positive functions including lowering blood pressure, aiding relaxation, better muscle tone and function, promoting elimination of toxins, to name a few. At Duffy Health our skilled practitioners combine techniques from various massage approaches along with specialist systematic kinesiology techniques and neuro-lymphatic reflex points, adding a whole other dimension. In clinic, Massage is most often used as part of a treatment. Massage with oil/cream is optional, clients can choose gentle massage through clothing. Massage techniques can be used locally to a problem area in the body or used more generally as a full body treatment if needed.
Our bodies are reliant on a good balance of nutrients and vitamins for proper energy levels and optimal functioning. One of our modalities is checking (via muscle testing) for deficiency of vitamins and minerals to see what is needed for recovery and optimal function. We can also look at food intolerances, and our treatments seek to alleviate these rather than create an endless list of foods to eliminate from the diet, which is unproductive.
At Duffy Health we believe in getting nutrition from whole foods if possible rather than relying on a lot of supplements, but in cases of deficiency it may be necessary to initially take supplementation to aid the body in its healing.
Bach remedies
Bach Remedies were developed by physician and bacteriologist Dr Edward Bach, whose unique and visionary approach led him to create these powerful essences which are invaluable in assisting with emotional and mental wellbeing. Each of the 38 remedies are different and in clinic we use muscle testing to check which remedy the body needs at the time. Remedies like this are entirely optional and clients may wish to avail of them, or instead benefit from our numerous other approaches and modalities. A couple of drops may be given during a session if desired, and a bespoke remedy (small extra cost) is also an option for ongoing use at home.
